The Flin Flon Bombers held their AGM last night at the Flin Flon Community Hall's Green Room.

President Hank Kozar announced that the club has picked up the option on Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan's contract. They have also given him a 2 year extension.

Hank explained how important it was to have stability within the organization especially at the Head Coaching position.

It was a very good year financially with the club making a profit of $17,161.00.

David Brooks, the treasurer commented that a good chunk of the team's money had come from the new 50-50 system and playoff run. The Bomber fundraisers such as the boat draw and side by side raffle helped as well.

Mike Reagan talked about the recent rookie camp in Saskatoon where 105 kids showed up making this the largest camp in 6 years.

Mike was impressed with the talent and thought a lot of the kids were capable of playing junior hockey.

7 players were signed:

4 Forwards

local product Evan Akkerman who played with the Norman North Stars and was an all star last season.

Evan Patrick who comes from the Swift Current Legionnaires.

Ryan McQueen- Thunder Bay

Ram Brar- North Vancouver Wolf Pack

3 Defensemen

Rob Cameron- Saskatoon Blazers

Brandon Workman- Victoria Jr B

Keifer Schoufler-  U of A Bisons.

Mike also mentioned 14 players are eligible to come back from last season.

The Bombers will be doing a season ticket blitz June 11-14, where the Bomber office will be open 12:30 to 7 PM each day.

The Bombers also have 3 spots open on their board of directors and if you are interested in possibly filling one of the spots call Hank at the Bomber office at 687-4404.
