"I am honored and humbled to receive the award, being with the Bombers has been a great opportunity for me with the amount of trust and opportunity the organization has given me. Being able to take over for the months when Mike has been away with Canada West has been huge for me as a person and a coach and has really helped with my development. I can't say enough good things about the organization and the community, I am very excited and happy to receive the award."

The Flin Flon Bombers are pleased to announce the acquisition of 1998 born forward Will Middleton (Beausejour, MB) from the Lloydminster Bobcats of the AJHL for future considerations.

Middleton played in 48 games with the Bobcats last season finishing with 7 points (5g, 2a) and 12 penalty minutes in his rookie campaign.

“We’re really happy to get Will from Lloyminster,” said Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan.  “He’s a big body that put up good numbers in AAA midget.  We lost some size and scoring which he could potentially help in both areas.”

Middleton suited up for the Eastman Selects of the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League where he 70 points (32g, 28a) in 78 games over two seasons including 52 points (23g, 29a) in 44 games in his final AAA Midget season.

“Sometimes a change of scenery and a fresh start is all someone needs” added Reagan.  “After the numbers he put up in midget, we think that’s all Will needs.”

The Bombers have also started their Season Ticket Blitz for the 2017/18 season.  To purchase your tickets you can contact Leanna Cambpell at the Bombers office at 204-687-4404 and check out our Facebook page for the info on the Blitz.
