Manitoba Housing will be holding a public information session on building seniors housing on Wednesday. Their Executive Director for Northern Housing Harold Smith says they will provide information on the RFP or request for proposals. He says they recognize there is a need for affordable seniors housing and the RFP gives them the opportunity to partner with local groups in the development of more affordable seniors housing. He says the RFP closes on June the 10th.
The session will be held Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 downstairs at the Flin Flon Public Library. More information on the request for proposals can be found at www.gov.mb.ca/housing.
