We are just a week away from  Remembrance Day  in Canada  which will include the annual Parade and service from the Flin Flon Community Hall.

Bob Penner explains this year’s Parade Route. " First of all everyone is going to meet up at the Legion and shortly after 10am they will form up on Hapnot street. We will head south to the corner of Fourth Avenue and Hapnot, turn left for one walk,  turn left again on to Hill street. We will march down Hill street past the Cenotaph and then from there down around the corner at Kleen All. We will go past the Red Square up the hill to the Community Hall and then proceed into the Community Hall for the service."

The service will start at 10:50 am and they are asking everyone to be at the Flin Flon Community Hall by 10:30am. The service will wrap up at noon and conclude with a March Back to the Legion.

Tickets are still available for the Remembrance Day Banquet this Saturday. They are $30.00 and can be purchased at the Legion Lounge and if you want a ticket you need to pick one up  by 6pm this Friday.

The evening will include a dinner, presentation of service pins and special guest speaker is Reverend Robert Parker a retired Military Chaplin.
