The Flin Flon Credit Union and Flin Flon Insurance have announced  the latest grants for the Small Grant Program.

Each year, these two businesses set aside 5% of their combined net incomes and provide small grants of up to $2,500 per project to a variety of groups for purposes the meet the program criteria.

The October recipients are: Beaver City Tours, Sunrise Hockey, Cranberry Portage Hike Ski Trail, Wakohtowin Trails Committee, the Flin Flon Rotary Club  and the Flin Flon Snow Lodge all receiving $25,00.00.

Community Futures Greenstone received $2,000.00, the Norman Honour Band $1,333.33, Bigfoot Signs $1000.00 and Norman Community Services $550.00.
