There are lots of different ways you can support the local Flin Flon Creighton Area SPCA including their biggest fundraiser of the year, their $10,000.00 cash draw.
One of the workers Brenna Benko tells us what they do with the funds from all their fundraisers. " It is the upkeep of the shelter, it helps with vet bills and feeding of the animals. Obviously it helps to pay employees, and general upkeep of our shelter because it is pretty costly."
Tickets are $20.00 each and are available at business locations all over Flin Flon. You can also e-transfer Heidi Mote at hmote@rocketmail.com. Please also message her with the name and phone number you want on the tickets and she will send you photos of your tickets. Draw is October the 31st at noon.
The SPCA is also planning an event for Halloween on Sunday October the 25th called Hocus Pocus. There will be gift baskets up for grabs for prizes, so stop by their location at 1 Cliff Road and purchase a ticket for $5.00.
