The City of Flin Flon is happy with the progress that is happening  with  the Pine Ave Bridge  project.

Over the past few days, crews have been placing sub-base material in preparation for the next phase of construction.

The next step will be the installation of the new culverts, followed by backfilling and preparation around them. Once the road surface is completed, guardrails will be installed on both sides of the crossing, followed by the installation of a sidewalk along the north side.

 As work on this project continues, engineers will be coming in regularly to inspect for quality control.

Paving is scheduled to take place next summer.
