The Flin Flon Public Library will once again be part of Culture Days this year. They will be hosting a Book Tasting on Thursday October the 1st starting at 6pm.
Library Administrator Lisa Slugoski has the details. " A book tasting is a fun interactive activity where participants get to sample a variety of books. It is essentially speed dating with books instead of people. We are going to have 5 tables set up with 4 or 5 books at each table, and guests will rotate at each table spending a short time with each book. Registration is required and you can register by calling or e-mailing the Library."
Sign up as soon as you can as they only have room for 25 people and don’t forget to pick up a ticket for the Fall 50/50. Tickets are one for 5 dollars, three for ten dollars, ten for 20 or 30 for 50 dollars.
You can pick up tickets by stopping by the Library or get them online with all the links on their Facebook page and website. The draw will be made on December the 11th.
