The Flin Flon Station Museum inducted two groups into their Wall Of Fame which included Tom and Betty Dobson and Gerry Clark. The ceremony took place on Monday afternoon.
Deputy Mayor, Alison Dallas Funk personally thanked the Flin Flon Fire Department for their donation from their Boot Drive last Friday. A total of $15,000.00 was raised and will be donated to the local food bank.
The City has approved an agreement for the Aurora and Bistro to once again run the Flin Flon Curling Club Lounge effective October te 13th of 2026 to March the 31st of 2027.
There were members from the Caring For Our Community Group in attendance who wanted clarification on the City building a public washroom on Flin Flon’s Main Street.
The City said they are discussing it and are looking at different factors including location and community safety. This will be tabled and they will make a final decision soon.
City Administrator Officer Joy Kapyk wanted to remind residents that if you arn’t sure you are on the registered voter’s list for the Municipal Election coming up on October the 28th to give the City a call at 1-833-210-6435.
