Cranberry Portage is getting ready to celebrate their Centennial in 2028 and preparations have begun on how to celebrate this momentous milestone for the community.
Barb Bragg mentions what they have going so far. " We have Brady Cable who is a teacher at the Elementary School, has established a Facebook page which is Cranberry Portage Centennial 2028. He is going to be managing that site trying to generate pictures and stories that can go into a pictoral storybook of Cranberry Portage from 1978 to 2028. The reason he is doing that 50 year period is because at 50 years there was a pictoroal book created that had the first 50 years."
The Facebook page, Cranberry Portage Centennial 2028 will be the official site with anything that happens with the Centennial planning. They will also be holding a meeting on November the 4th, 6pm at the Cranberry Museum.
This is open to anyone who is interested in stepping up and would like to bring some ideas and help them with the planning on how Cranberry will look in 2028.
