Today is a big day for the Snow Lake Mining Museum who are celebrating their 30th anniversary.
Dorie Forsyth is the Mining Curator and she invites everyone out for a great day of activities. " For the 30th anniversary when you walk in the door the first 30 adults will receive a small gift, and the first 30 kids will also receive a small gift. There will be 30 prizes that you can win so make sure you enter your name. We will also have the Rock Doctor who will be in and you can bring a rock."
Souvenirs and memberships will also be available with the event taking place at the Snow Lake Mining Museum between 1 and 4 today.
The Snow Lake Mining Museum opened it’s doors for the first time on May the 18th 1996 with the official opening on June the 15th,1996.
