Another Busy week for the City of Flin Flon Public Works Department who are taking advantage of the Summer construction season by working on several projects around the community.

 

Crews continue to repair and rebuild sewer boxes along Terrace Avenue. Much of the work on North Avenue has been completed, with additional work scheduled for Bellevue and Adams Street.

 

Crosswalk painting is in full swing in the Uptown Area. Crews are working hard to finish the high traffic areas. Next week they will move to the school zones to make sure crossings are freshly painted and ready for students and their families on the first day of school.

 

The Asphalt Milling Schedule has been slightly delayed with work now expected the middle of this week. The City will continue to notify the public of affected areas once the work progresses. Milling is expected to take two weeks followed by two weeks of paving.

 

Sidewalk work will be concluding this week with crews returning in September to finish any remaining sidewalk work.
