On August 10th, Pelican Narrows RCMP were notified of a single-vehicle collision on Highway #135.
Officers responded and located the vehicle, which had left the road and gone into the ditch.
The occupants did not report injuries to police.
Officers observed a loaded handgun and open alcohol in the vehicle. The occupants were arrested.
As a result of investigation, 28-year-old Marcie Ballantyne, 28-year-old Newton Ballantyne and 21-year-old Safira Linklater, all from Pelican Narrows, have been charged with multiple offenses including Unsafe storage of a vehicle, carrying a concealed weapon and one count of operation of a motor vehicle while impaired.
Pelican Narrows RCMP continue to investigate.
