Exciting news for UCN in Flin Flon, after several years of planning and hard work they are ready to introduce student housing.
Jackie Rechenmacher the Communications and Event Coordinator says this is huge for Flin Flon and the North. " I think it's a great opportunity to have housing available within Flin Flon, so students are able to access programming. They will also be able to access University programming like Nursing and Readiness For Mining and be able to live in Flin Flon and not have to look else where."
The Grand Opening will include remarks from UCN Leadership, Government and Community representatives, a tour of the facility and a barbecue.
This event is open to the entire community and surrounding area and UCN look forward to sharing this celebration with the entire region on Monday August the 24th starting at 11am.
