The latest City Beat Program took place last Wednesday on 102.9 CFAR with Deputy Mayor Alison Dallas Funk and Councillor Mike Slipp both in studio to discuss a number of topics.
The first thing on the agenda was the Municipal Election which will take place in Flin Flon on Wednesday October the 28th. One of the points that they wanted to get across was the different things to expect if you are thinking about running for either Mayor or City Councillor.
Councillor Slipp talks about how the past 4 years have gone for him. " This is one of the most rewarding important thngs I have done in my life. It can be painful on days, trust us but the rewards are so much more. When we see sidewalks being done, bridges being built, a new swimming pool."
The deadline to submit your name is Tuesday September the 22nd at City Hall. To obtain a registration form you can contact the Senior Election Official at 1-833-210-6435 EXT 509.
