Last Friday,  Flin Flon RCMP attended to a female who had walked into the detachment after an apparent assault.

 

The victim told police she was walking home from a convenience store when she was attacked and then provided details and a description about the male suspect.

 

The 32-year-old female was treated for her injuries by officers until EMS arrived.

 

Patrols were immediately conducted and information was received the suspect was at a residence on Hapnot Street.

 

Upon their arrival, the suspect was seen running from the home, a short foot chase ensued, and the suspect was arrested without further incident.

 

Taylor Robinson, 22, from Flin Flon was charged with the following:

• Assault causing bodily harm

• Resist/obstruct peace officer

He was remanded into custody.
