On July 22ND , at approximately 3:30 am, Flin Flon RCMP received a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence in Schist Lake.
Creighton RCMP officers were called in to assist. When they arrived on scene, they located shattered glass by a door that connects to the basement.
Police notified the female resident, who remained upstairs, that they were entering the home and found a male asleep in a bedroom downstairs.
The male was arrested without incident while the resident was not physically harmed.
A 41-year-old male from Flin Flon was charged with multiple offenses including Breaking and Entering With Intent and Mischief Under $5,000.00- Damage To Property.
The male was remanded into custody and Flin Flon RCMP continue to investigate.
