Summer is in full swing and there is lots going on with the Flin Flon Arts Council as they are preparing for a busy August.

 

Interim Executive Director Jon Davis has more. " The Arts Council, we just hired a few new students to help out at the Emporium and now that we have some more people we are gearing up for the Blue Berry Jam. After that we are still in works for the Under Ground Opera, a outfit that comes in from Winnipeg. We have started the Summertime Serenade at Aurora Pine and Bistro. What that is, we get some grant funding to help support our local musicians."

 

The Summer Time Serenade will take place at the Aurora and Pine Bistro  on  Flin Flon’s Main Street every Thursday night throughout the Summer starting at 6pm.
