There is lots going on this summer at the Norva Centre in Flin Flon including an exhibition featuring a local artist tonight.
The Norva Centre’s Laura Bryson tells us what’s happening. " We have an exhibition going on right now called The Long Goodbye by artist Karen Clark. The event is on til July the 28th, but she is having an artist talk starting at 7pm tonight. This should be exciting and it is all about the company and she was able to get on the site and take lots of pictures, so her body of work is all untailed about that. We also have at Norva, 4 pieces being exhibited by artist Donna Champaigne . Donna was also exhibiting with Jan Modler and Greg East at the Cumberland Gallery at the Saskatchewan Legislature and she is also going to hold an Artist Talk on July 29th at 7pm."
Another event you can sign up for is the return of their Paint Night happening on Friday July 31st from 7 til 10pm. Cost is $50.00 and all supplies are included. To register you can e-mail Norva at norvacentre@gmail.com.
