The Northern Growing Abilities will be holding a community barbecue this Sunday at the Flin Flon Rotary Wheel.

It is this organization’s way of thanking the community and surrounding area for their continued support. Board member Deb Odegaard has the details.

" It starts at 1 and ends at 4 and we have food and games for kids, door prizes and live music and it will be a good time. So we just want to say thank you to the community for their support,  and people are invited to come out and join us."

The event is free and open to everyone in the community. They will also be selling raffle tickets for their Fall Into Winter Ice Fishing package which includes a tent, propane heater, chair, fishing pole and $200.00 worth of scratch tickets.

The draw will be made in October.
