It has been a very productive start to the summer for the Wahkohtowin Trails Committee.
The Phantom Lake Trail is open and is being well used.
Kelsey Trail behind the Vic Inn is open and being worked on. Some spots can be wet and they are recommending waterproof shoes or rubber boots.
Hudbay Mining has given the committee permission to add signage to the trails off the Trout Lake Road.
Some really exciting news includes the Province of Manitoba giving them permits for trails at Bakers Narrows. There are 28 km of trails that can be used all year round by multiple user groups.
Early registration has begun for the Trails Manitoba conference that they are taking place in The Pas in October with day tours of Cranberry & Flin Flon.
