Last week Deputy Mayor Alison Dallas Funk and City Councillor Mike Slipp were the guests on the City Beat program on 102.9 CFAR.

A lot of topics were discussed including a new City Bylaw pertaining to ATV’S, The start of the construction for the new sidewalks on Flin Flon’s Main Street and what was happening with the new Community Safety and Well Being Committee .

Mike Slipp heads up the committee and provides the details. " The survey has been completed, it is done so the folks from Canadian Safety, Manitoba and Saskatchewan Justice are now compiling that information. They are doing a data analysis on that information and we will have the outcome to see what is important to people in Flin Flon. We can guess on some things, but let's get to the heart of it and get the pulse of what people want. It will take a little while, most likely late fall when it comes out and then we have to make sure we implement the plan."
