Due to the windy wet weather earlier this week the Flin Flon Trout Festival has rescheduled some events.
The Community Barbecue in conjunction with Walk A Mile In Her Shoes will now be taking place today at 5pm at Pioneer Square. Flin Flon Rec Director Cait Bailey invites the community to come down for some great food and entertainment. "Absolutely we are loking forward to it and hoping that the weather cooperates. We want to welcome the community out for our Trout Festival Barbecue, there are lots of community partners working on that event. Make sure you come down because the Women's Resource Centre's Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is taking place in conjuction with that event."
The Ross Lake Regatta and Fireworks are also rescheduled for tonight. It takes place at the Mike’s Ice and Burger Hut starting at 8pm and will feature entertainers Ron Burwash and Cranberry Jam with the Fireworks to follow at around midnight.
Feel free to come down and enjoy the music on the lake in a canoe and kayak. Life Jackets will also be available on a first come basis.
