July is upon us and even though the new Hudbay Aquatic Centre hasn’t officially had their grand opening, they are planning events for July.
Pool Manager Kelsey Andersen says things are starting to fall into place but they are still in need of life guards. " Things are going really awesome, we have recently completed a round of Life Guard Training and we are going into round two. If anyone has ever thought about being a Life Guard and would like to take some cources, you can reach out to me. We have been taking Birthday Party rentals, we will be ramping up the public swims for July and we will be starting Aqua Fit on July 8th."
They have hired 8 life guards and would like to hire 8 more and will be offering their Bronze Medallion Swim Course from July the 3rd to the 5th.
