Last Thursday, Flin Flon RCMP received a report from a local business that they had received a suspected counterfeit bank note.

 

Officers attended and were provided with the $50 Canadian bank note which was determined to have the same serial # as a previously reported counterfeit bill.

 

As of this date, there have been three reported cases of this bank note, with the same serial number, being passed within the Flin Flon and Creighton area.

 

RCMP believe other businesses may have been targeted and urge those accepting $50 Canadian bank notes to examine them carefully.
