The Town of Creighton is getting ready for a busy Summer and will be hosting a number of events for kids and the entire family.
Creighton Rec Director Lindsay Shirran lets us know what is coming up. " The Spray Pool is set to open on June the 27th for the season. The hours for the year will be 11am to 6pm daily, weather permitting as we only close if it is raining. On Sunday June the 28th we will be hosting a free Yoga In The Park with Kristin Imrie at 12:320 pm at the soccer field. That leads up to Canada Day where we will have a number of events going on through out the day . We are the hosts of the parade, so we will have that coming out this way. There will be a Show and Shine with the Classic Cars at the Sportex. The Canada Day afternoon is being moved over to the Soccer Field this year."
Creighton is also hosting activities for National Indigenous Peoples Day this Sunday June the 21st at the Creighton School Field. Opening Prayer will happen at 1pm followed by lots of great entertainment and a free barbecue.
