Summer is here and Flin Flon Parks and Rec will have plenty of events and activities to keep you and the kids busy this Summer.
Flin Flon Rec Director Cait Bailey is excited about all the big events they have coming up. " We will be opening the Zoo and we are hoping for sooner than later, but unfortunately the late Spring left us with frozen pipes.We need to make sure we have running water before the animals move up. We are fully staffed and ready to go when they are. We will be taking part in the Trout Festival again and the kick off barbecue is going to be on June 30th. So it is in the midst of regular Trout Festival time, but we are actually partnering with the Women's Resource Centre for Walk A Mile In Her Shoes which will take place during that barbecue."
You can also sign the kids up for Summer In The Parks which will begin on July the 2nd for ages 5 to 10. You can register at cityofflinflon.perfectmind.com. You can also stop by the Rec/City Hall Office.
