The Flin Flon Lions Club will be holding their annual  Walk  For  Dog Guides this Sunday afternoon at the Flinty’s Boardwalk.

Jan Nichol talks about what the proceeds will be used for. " The Dog Guides  that they train include vision, hearing, mobility, seizure alert, Diabetes alert and Autism support and facility support. The dogs are worth $35,000.00 each but are absolutely free of charge to any Canadian who requires a Dog Guide. This is made possible only through fundraising and donations like we are doing this Sunday."

You can take part by picking up a pledge form at Northern Rainbow’s End. The walk will start this Sunday with registration at 10:30 am and the walk at 11. You can come and walk even if you don’t have a dog and hot dogs and drinks will be available for free for  everyone who comes out. There will also be free water and treats for the dogs.
