The Flin Flon Creighton Area SPCA is planning on running a lot of fundraisers this summer to help keep the doors open at the Shelter.

Their first big fundraiser is taking place this Saturday at the Gateway parking lot called the Dogs For Dogs Hotdog fundraiser which will take place between noon and 3pm.

Tanya Benoit mentions there will be no shortage of prizes available for everyone in attendance on Saturday. " We are going to have a couple different things happening that day. The first thing is we are going to be drawing for the raffle that we have put together with 8 major prizes. We are almost sold out, we have like 32 books left and all the prizes will be there to look at. There are tickets left over that you will be able to buy there too and all the prizes will be drawn  at 3pm. There will be a 50/50 going on and we will have Hot Dogs that were donated by the North of 53 CO-OP and Arctic Beverages donated a whole bunch of chips and pop that we will be selling for very cheap. For a purchase of a Hot Dog, chips and a drink you will be entered for a North Of 53 CO-OP gift card."

There will also be a Dodge Ram on display from Twin Motors where they will be filling the back of the truck with non monetary supplies including cleaning supplies, dog food, cat food and litter. Anyone who donates to this will get a chance to win a $100.00 gift card from the Tempo Gateway. 

There will be lots of other prizes and give aways throughout the day and the SPCA wants to thank everyone in the community for their continued support.
