Flin Flon hosted members from the Canadian Centre For Safer Communities throughout the week as they had a chance to meet with people and groups represented on behalf of the RCMP, education, health and differen community leaders.
Stacey Colliver is the Director of Research and Services and she talks about what the plan will be in moving forward. " So we are going to continue working with your steering community into the fall. Then we will do action and priority setting and create some tangible solutions. Between the fall and spring of next year we will assist your communities to implement the plan and get things moving on the ground. That way it just doesn't collect dust on a shelf as a strategy."
Right now, they would like residents to fill out a survey about how you experience safety and well being in your daily lives and the different challenges you face. The survey will take about 20 minutes to fill out and you can scan the QR code on the poster located on both the City of Flin Flon and Town of Creighton websites.
Everyone who completes the survey will have a chance to win a $50.00 gift card.
