On April 17th, Pukatawagan RCMP responded to a home invasion at a residence on Ballantyne Drive in Mathias Colomb Cree Nation.
When officers arrived, the residents advised that three male suspects had forced their way inside the home. All of the suspects were armed with a firearm but fled the scene before police arrived.
No one inside the home was physically injured.
A short time later two males were arrested without incident in the community.
A third suspect, 23-year-old Creedan Bighetty, from Winnipeg, is wanted on a number of charges.
A 16-year-old male from Mathias Colomb Cree Nation is facing multiple charges including unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon or restricted weapon.
A 17 year old from the Mathias Cree Nation is also facing multiple charges including unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon or restricted weapon.
The incident is believed to be targeted and there is no current threat to the community.
