The Annual CFAR Trade and Leisure Show is just a couple days away as it will kick off this Thursday at the Creighton Sportex.

This is an event which always signifies the beginning of the spring and summer seasons for Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan with lots of displays from businesses and different groups from our region and all over the two provinces.

CFAR Manager Dianne Russell says they look forward to welcoming back a lot of familiar faces and some new ones as well. “I think everybody looks forward to the CFAR Trade & Leisure Show every spring. It kinda marks the beginning of a new season and the end of the winter, of course we’re looking at some white stuff over the next week, but we’ll be inside and we’ll be celebrating spring and Trade & Leisure and we look forward to seeing everybody there...well actually there’s quite a few little new ones, little ones big ones, but we’ve got Bailey Homes coming back, we’ve got Western Boat Lift coming back you know to see if he can help out with anyone, so, it’s going to be a really good show.”

The three day event starts this Thursday at the Creighton Sportex 4 to 9pm, Friday noon to 9pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm and it is free admission.
