The Royal Winnipeg Ballet will be coming to Flin Flon as part of their On the Edge Tour later this month.
The show will take place this Friday April the 17th at 7pm at the Flin Flon Community Hall. One of the Directors Vanessa Leonard explains the tour. “So, this is the post-graduate program that is travelling. We have 16 dancers that are coming on the bus and these dancers have completed their professional education and the program is similar to, I like to call it the P.H.D of Dance. So, they’re really high level emerging artists, ages of about 18 to 21. And they do perform quite a bit with a professional company as well. Most of them went on tour with Nutcracker, and they just were all involved in Sleeping Beauty that the company did here in Winnipeg.”
