If you enjoy live music right at your doorstep make sure you take in the final Home Routes Music Series coming up in April in both Flin Flon and Cranberry.
Direct from Denmark will be the award winning duo Svobsk who will be making their only stops in Northern Manitoba on their tour.
Elly Spencer who will be hosting the Flin Flon show at her home describes the Home Route experience. " They are house concerts, so they happen in peoples homes and here in Flin Flon they happen at our house. People bring snacks and a beverage or two and we all sit down stairs in our family room. We usually get out between 25 and 30 people out, so you will know people when you get here with this being a small town. We have been doing this for over 15 years in Flin Flon and have hosted over 105 acts."
The dates are Tuesday April the 14th in Flin Flon at the Spencer’s home at 19 Hemlock with doors opening at 7 and the music at 7:30pm. It will take place in Cranberry the next night April the 15th at the Cranberry Portage Legion also starting at 7:30pm.
