Summer is around the corner and the City of Flin Flon wants to make sure residents are prepared in case of another emergency. One of those ways is to pre-register by providing the City with all your personal information.
We get the details from the Public Affairs and Community Engagement Manager Kasper Antoszewski.
“So, this year, well in anticipation of fire season, we’re asking people to register with the new form we just posted. And it includes all of the information that we know from last time, will be useful to us in the event of any kind of emergency that might need an evacuation. So, that includes, things like, how many people are in your household, how many kids that you have that depend on you, you know whether you have pets, whether you’re going to, whether you have your own transportation or whether you’re going to need help getting out of Flin Flon.”
Even if you registered last year, please register again, The City is working to create a complete and central database of our population, so that it can easily be provided to the Province of Manitoba, Red Cross, or other emergency partners.
You will find the form on the City of Flin Flon website and City of Flin Flon Facebook page. If you need any assistance filling out the form you can e-mail info@flinflon.ca.
