Just after 10 last Saturday morning the RCMP received intelligence that an employee from a local financial institution had embezzled a significant amount of money.  An investigation was initiated and an internal theft has been confirmed.  Charges have yet to be laid as the investigation is ongoing.  The full amount of money embezzled is not known as a full audit is being completed.  The name of the financial institution has not been released at this time.
