Community Futures Visions North is pleased to announce that Creighton Mayor Bruce Fidler has been appointed to the Community Futures Saskatchewan Board Of Directors.
This provincial appointment recognizes Bruce’s long-standing commitment to economic development and his advocacy for Northern Saskatchewan.
Bruce Fidler has served on the Visions North Board since 2016, representing the Town of Creighton. With nearly three decades of municipal leadership experience, Bruce brings an unparalleled depth of knowledge in regional operations and economic growth to the provincial table.
Fidler’s appointment ensures that the voices of Northern entrepreneurs remain central to the provincial dialogue on economic diversification.
Bruce has had a big impact in Northern Saskatchewan having served on Creighton Town Council for 32 years, including 23 as Mayor. Bruce is also a recipient of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Platinum Jubilee Medal.
