Bust the Winter Blues will officially get underway later today with a lot of great events all over Flin Flon and Creighton for people of all ages.
Creighton Rec Director Lindsay Shirran is hoping to see a lot of people come out this weekend.
“Tonight we will have a Family Fun Skate at the Flin Flon Whitney, Forum from 6 to 8, admission is free. We’ll have a beginner yoga at the Creighton Sportex with Christy Janvier, from 7 to 7:45, also free. The Kinette Club will be running their trivia night. And the Trails Group will be running a free Glow Snow Shoe event at Phantom Lake, you can bring your own snow shoes or reach out to them and they can provide snow shoes for free as well.”
Some of the other events to look forward to this weekend include a Historical Tour of the Whitney Forum with Ken Pawlachuk, Fireworks, Aloha Family Dance, Border Explorers Poker Derby and lots of events at the Snow Lodge at the Rotary Wheel.
