Bust The Winter Blues will kick off next weekend, February the 27th to March 1st with lots of family events all over Flin Flon and Creighton.
The Flin Flon Friendship Centre will be holding a couple of events including hosting Cultural Events at the Sportex on Saturday the 28th.
Brianne Roberts provides the details. " We will have arm and leg wrestling, flour portage races, a sled pole race where we put logs on a sleigh and then we race with those sleighs. Another one is trap setting races and I picked up number two traps for that and we will also have a log sign race."
There will be candy door prizes and it takes place between 1:30 to 4pm and the Friendship Centre will also participate in the Snow Lodge Tours on Sunday. Registration forms will be at the Sportex before the games on Saturday and there are three different age categories including 12 and under, 13 to 17 and 18 and up.
