To help protect Manitoba’s tourism industry, Travel Manitoba is launching a program to help fixed-roof accommodations in remote areas most at risk of wildfire damage, like outfitters and lodges, to purchase heavily subsidized equipment that is compatible with the Manitoba Wildfire Service to protect buildings in the case of a wildfire.

 

 

The City of Flin Flon  encourage all of Flin Flon’s lodges and property-owning tourism operators to submit an expression of interest.

 

The Expression of Interest form is due today, and can be filled out and submitted through the link industry.travelmanitoba.com/wildfire-resilience.

 

 

The form is short and simple and should take less than 5 minutes to fill out.
