The Bust The Winters Blue Winter Festival will begin one week from this Friday with a lot of great events indoors and outdoors.

Creighton Recreation Director Lindsay Shirran invites all the neighboring communities to come out and celebrate Winter. " Our Bust The Winter Blues Festival is coming along nicely, we have many fun events new and old that are going to be taking place that weekend starting Feb 27th. We will have a fun family fun  skate at the Whitney Forum on the Friday , a beginner Yoga class, Glow Snowshoe Event will be put on by the Trails Committee at Phantom. During the Saturday we will have the Home Business Market and a new thing we have added includes a Whitney Forum Historical Tour with Ken Pawlachuk. You can meet at the Whitney Forum lobby at 11am and we will also have a family fun day at the Sportex."

Some of the other events include Fireworks, Aloha Family Dance, Beach Bash at the Hooter, Border Explorers Snowmobile Poker Derby and Senior’s events at the Flin Flon Community Hall.
