Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Critical Incident Response Team and Prince Albert Police Service CRT – seized two firearms along with ammunition at a residential property in La Loche.
On February 4th , Prince Albert CRT obtained a warrant to search a residential property in La Loche as a result of an ongoing investigation.
During the search, officers located two firearms; one shotgun and one airgun, along with ammunition.
Three adults were arrested at the scene.
As a result of the investigation, 29-year-old Kelsey Herman of La Loche was charged with one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
The two other adults were released from police custody without charge.
Kelsey Herman is scheduled to appear in La Loche Provincial Court later today.
