Teen Challenge is preparing for one of their biggest fundraisers of the year and the event Sled For Eternity which will take place in Flin Flon this year.
Kandie Lagore and Darrel Hartwig were at the CFAR studio last Thursday and provided details on how everything will work. " The event is going to kick off at 830 in the morning with registration for the riders, and we are hoping for snow to even better our trails. Our mission is to offer a full range of addiction tratment and recovery service with compassion and excellence. This sled event is about raising resources to help us accomplish that mission. Any rider who signs up, the cool thing is they can raise support with us and help us fulfill that great addiction and need for our community."
It takes place February the 28th at St Anne’s Parish Hall, with riders expected to be riding from all over the province including a strong contingent from Flin Flon and Northern Manitoba.
You can register by going to the website at teeenchallenge.tc. Lots of great prizes are going to be awarded including a new sled which is a brand new 2026 Ski Doo for the highest fundraiser which is worth over $25,000.00.
