The Denare Beach Winter Festival is making it’s return the weekend of February the 13th,14th and 15th with a lot of events the whole family can enjoy.
Rec Director Mel Durette is looking forward to the festival and bringing everyone together. " It is very good that we decided to do it after everything that happened last summer, we just want to bring everyone back together. It will start off on Friday with supper at 5, and there is only 200 tickets available for that, so get your tickets quickly. There will be the Penny Parade, kids events, Turkey Curling and Trap Setting on Friday. Saturday we are going to have a Pancake Breakfast, a bingo, dog sled races and we will also have dog sled rides."
For the first time in seven years they will have horse sleigh races and the event will wrap up on the Sunday at the Beaver Lake Grounds with a sliding party, trap setting and the Dog Sled Races.
All the events are free and there will be a chance to win a lot of great prizes.
