As part of International Women’s week this year, the Women’s Resource Centre in Flin Flon would like to highlight some of the women in our community who have impacted the community in a positive way.

Madison McIntire explains how you can go about nominating somebody for an award. " So we are selecting seven recipients, so one for each day of the week, surprising them with an award and some swag. You will see on our Facebook page that we have a link , which is a very quick google form and it is anonymous when you go on there to nominate people. We will need who you are nominating and why, where they can be contacted and get a hold of them. Then we will go through the nominations and select seven for the week."

You can nominate as many people as you want with nominations closing February the 13^th. All the awards will be presented during International Women’s Week, March the 2^nd to the 8^th. Keep watching the Women’s Resource Centre’s Facebook page for updates.
