On January 14th, the Snow Lake Health Auxiliary presented a cheque of $3,200 to the Northern Village of Denare Beach to support their rebuilding efforts after the wildfires of 2025.

Accepting the cheque was Northern Village of Denare Beach councillor Jesse Madarash. The cheque was presented by SLHA members Cathy Stabback, Dawna Bieniarz, Sheila Francis, Janice Becking, Ann Taylor, Ellen Bridgeman, and Terry Wood.

 The Snow Lake Health Auxiliary fundraises through The Second Glance and other initiatives. The Snow Lake Health Auxiliary supports the Snow Lake Health Centre and community activities  in Snow Lake and its neighbouring areas.
