Increased Police Presence In Cumberland House As Officers Investigate Shooting

Saskatchewan RCMP is investigating a shooting that occurred yesterday in Cumberland House, which injured one individual.

 

There will be an increased police presence in Cumberland House in relation to this ongoing investigation. People are asked to avoid the areas where police officers are present and follow any police direction provided.

 

Officers are currently searching for a person of interest, who is described as a male in his 20s with black hair and brown eyes. He is known to drive a blue 2008 Chrysler 300 with Saskatchewan license plate 215 NGG.

 

If you see this car, do not approach it. Contact police immediately by dialling 310-RCMP or 9-1-1 in an emergency. Information can also be submitted anonymously by contacting Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.

 

As this is an unfolding investigation. The RCMP will provide an update on this investigation as soon as they are able. If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, RCMP will notify the public.
