The Wahkohtowin Trails Committee are set to meet for the first time in 2026 tonight, as they look forward to another year discovering more trails in Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Christine Williams shares some exciting news. " We are just getting ready to kick start another winter season. Our most exciting news is that we have another snowshoe trail opening very soon. The trail is tracked and we are just waiting for the signage to hang. The trail is behind the Victoria Inn and it is going to be named the Kelsey Trail , named after the historical figure Henry Kelsey."
They will also be touching on some ideas they have planned and goals going forward. The meeting starts tonight at 7pm at the Creighton Recreation Tourism Office. These meetings are open to the entire pubic and you can also reach out by sending an e-mail to wahkohtowintrails@gmail.com.
