You are invited to a free Christmas Dinner this Wednesday December the 24th, Christmas Eve at the Lutheran Church in Flin Flon.
Kristina Lies who is the organizer explains how this event first came about and the history behind it. " It started years ago, my dad Lyle Borgstrom always wanted to have a dinner of some kind to bring people together. Whether you were hungry or just lonely, lots of people don't have their family around. He wanted to have something like that and this is actually our 10th year. It is something our family likes to do and it has really grown over the years. We have lots of people share in the donation of food so they can share in the dinner to."
A big thanks to the local Lion’s Club for their donation in helping buy the food. It takes place between 4 and 6pm and TY’S Taxi will be providing free rides by phoning 204-687-4441.
