You are encouraged to stop by the North Of 53 CO-OP today and take part in the local RCMP’S fundraiser by donating non-perishable food items for the Lord’s Bounty Food Bank.
It is the third annual Cram The Cruiser and Constable Addison tells us this was inspired by a similar event that took place out in BC. " I think it was around 2012 in BC, the RCMP started this sort of thing around Christmas time. Where you bring a Cruiser down to the grocery store and fill it with donations and take them over to the Food Bank. So we are doing that today and it is the third year we have been doing Cram The Cruiser in Flin Flon and I am really excited about it."
The hours are 12pm to 5pm today and a police cruiser will be parked in front of the CO-OP, and there will be pre packaged bags available at the front end of the store.
